These cupcakes would be adorable for those December birthday parties!
- 1 box yellow or chocolate cake mix (and accompanying ingredients needed to make batter)
- 6 cups green icing
- cupcake liners
- Sugar ice cream cones
- Christmas sprinkles
- 1 pastry bag or big ziploc bag
- 1 star cake decorating tip
- Bake cupcakes according to package instructions. Allow to cool completely.
- Place a small amount of frosting on the cupcakes to act as glue for the cones. Gently press the cone onto the cupcake to form a "Christmas Tree".
- Place frosting in piping bag or ziploc with the decorating tip in the corner of snipped bag. Beginning at the outer edge of the cone begin to pipe the frosting up the cone toward the top.
- Decorate with Christmas sprinkles!
