My daughter loves granola bars but the packaged ones just seem like a candy bar that's packed with sugar. These are a great alternative because you can control the quality of the ingredients and the sugar. They are also the perfect treat to take on the go!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (or other nut butter)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 cup coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup ground flax seed
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisins (or other dried fruit)
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well incorporated. Roll approximately 2 tablespoons into a ball and place on parchment lined sheet or press into a 9 x 9 inch pan to cut into rectangles. Chill in fridge for about 30 minutes until they are set. Once chilled place into airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.
*Play around with your flavors in this granola, feel free to add in your favorite dried fruits and sweet chips or nuts!

YUM! Made these last week with butterscotch chips instead of chocolate - divine. So many textures and flavors and very filling.
