I personally prefer to call this dish Italian Chicken, but it essentially is a "Shake n Bake" alternative - and just as easy as Shake n Bake, but even tastier! Try it with various side dishes (I prefer Broccoli au Gratin rice and asparagus) - and leftovers are great on salads!
What you'll need:
6 Chicken breasts
1 package Good Seasons Italian dry dressing mix
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 quart size Ziploc bag
Preheat over to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In Ziploc bag, combine Italian dressing mix, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Shake well. Run chicken under water, and place in Ziploc bag. (Best to do this about 2 breasts at a time.) Seal and shake until chicken is completely coated. Place coated chicken in baking dish. Repeat coating process until all chicken is coated.
Bake 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (to 165 degrees Fahrenheit).
