Mummies (wrapped Twinkies)


I was going through one of the Woman's Day {older issue!} magazines, trying to get a few new ideas (ironic, right?!)...and I came upon these Mummy wrapped Twinkies!

Here's what you'll need:

Recipe Ingredients
  • 8 Twinkies Snack Cakes ..for every:
  • 1 can (12 oz) whipped fluffy white frosting
  • Assorted mini M&M’s or Black or your choice of color Icing.
  • You also need: pastry bag fitted with a 1⁄4-in. ribbon piping tip*
Recipe Preparation
  1. Unwrap cakes; place on foil-lined baking sheet.
  2. Place frosting in pastry bag; pipe mummy wrapping to cover each cake.
  3. Place candies on cakes for eyes, or dot with Icing,
