Cocoa Krispie OWLS

What You Need:
3/4 stick Butter
I bag of Mini Marshmallows (about 10 oz.)
6 Cups of Cocoa Krispies
Black Icing
Yellow M&Ms
Candy Corn (with a Pairing Knife, cut little orange triangles out of the orange part of the candy corns!)

Instructions:
1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat...
2. Add Cocoa Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated...
3. Spray the back of a spoon with cooking spray or lightly butter it, then evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 pan that's coated with cooking spray. Cool in the refrigerator or on the counter.

4. When cool, flip the pan full of Krispie Treats onto a work surface or cutting board. Using a small glass (approx. 2" diameter) cut a small piece out of the outer edge of the Krispie Treats. This will create the ear shape...

Then, cut through again to fully cut out your owl (remaining part of the face)...

5. Shape the ears, if needed and smooth any rough edges.
6. Place the eyes and press them into the face of the Cocoa Krispie Owl. Place the nose (gently, but firmly).
7. Dot the eyes with the black Icing.

Here are my son's owls!!! So great!
