5 Minute Chilli

I love chili made from scratch but some days I don't have the time to be chopping ingredients and allowing the pot to simmer hours.  This is a perfect, fast recipe that will be on the table in no time!


  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cans chili beans
  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 packet of taco mix
  • 3/4 lb lean ground beef
In a large pot saute the beef until no longer pink.  Drain off any excess fat and add in remaining ingredients.  Bring to a simmer until heated through and serve!  Serve with shredded cheddar and tortilla chips :)
