- 4 granny smtih apples, peeled and cored
- pancake batter
- confectioner's sugar
- slice apples long ways, to make rings that are about 1/4" thick.
- place in pancake batter so they are completely coated
- melt butter in med-hot skillet, cook on each side for 4 minutes (or until golden brown)
- allow them to puff up (don't press down with spatula)
- serve with syrup or cinnamon/sugar!
