Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless pork
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbl low sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tsp minced ginger
  • 3 tbl honey
  • 2 tbl sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 3 tbl rice wine
  • 1 tbl Chinese 5 spice powder
  • 2 tbl hoisin sauce
  • skewers
Trim your pork of most of the fat and slice into 1 inch long pieces.  Place into a large zip lock bag.  In a small bowl mix all the ingredients and whisk well until incorporated.  Pour marinade over the pork in the zip lock bag and marinate for at least 1 hour or up to a day.  Remove the pork and feed onto skewers.  Place over preheated grill (inside or out) for only about 2 minutes per side.  Serve!
