7 Layers of Heaven Bars

Everyone has their own version of this recipe, and this one is a family favorite, with a peanut butter twist. I added peanut butter chips, and it adds yet another dimension of heavenly layers. Hope you have an excuse to make these soon!

You'll Need:
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 1/3 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.

Line a 9-inch x 13-inch pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Melt the butter in the microwave and pour into the pan so that the pan’s bottom is evenly coated. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the butter and press down lightly with your fingers so that the crust is even. Pour the condensed milk over the graham cracker crust. Then layer, in order, the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, coconut and walnuts. Press the layers down firmly all over with a the back of a fork.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until lightly browned and firm. Let cool, then lift the foil out of the pan and cut into bars.
