Superbowl Super Sub

Finger sandwiches are the perfect party food.  They are simple to put together and easy to eat with one hand.  Save a ton by forgoing the fancy premade deli platters from your supermarket and make your gigantic Superbowl Sub!

Depending on the size of your sub roll you may need more or less deli meat and cheese but here are the basics:
  • 1 super long sub - If you can't find a bakery that sells these just purchase a few sub rolls in the "normal" size and align them together to make it look like one big one!
  • 2 -3 lbs of deli meat
    • salami
    • ham
    • roast beef
    • turkey
  •  2 -3 lbs cheese
    • cheddar
    • american
    • provolone
    • swiss
  • dish of mayo
  • dish of mustard
  • dish of pickles
To assemble, slice open your sub roll and assemble as you would a sandwich.  Portion out the sub in order to make a few different types of sandwiches.  Once you have finished stuffing the roll, slice the sub on a diagonal in about 2 inch size slices ( you don't want them too big or they will be hard to eat on the go).  Serve the condiments on the side for guests to add to their sub.

Lucy!
