Holiday Quick Tips!

There's so much to think about around the holidays.  Here are 2 tips I use all the time around the holidays!!

Lucy~

#1  When baking cookies or any other baked good on a cookie sheet always use parchment paper and reuse it.  Yes, reuse your parchment paper.  It will save you a buck so your not buying boxes of parchment (which can be pricey) and you'll have a cookie sheet all prepped and ready to go when your baking your next batch.  Simply wipe off any excess crumbs that were left on the parchment after baking and it will be as good as new!

#2  Who likes to dry dishes?  Most annoying chore ever right?  Just when you think your done you need to do another step.  Well not anymore.  After cleaning up and washing dishes lay a few dish towels over your oven (which still should be warm after all the cooking you've been doing).  Lay the wet dishes over the dish towels and walk away and have yourself a cocktail or piece of desert and relax.  The heat of the oven will magically dry the dishes and will be ready to put away after you've relaxed a bit :)  If by chance your oven is cool just heat it up to 200 degrees and you'll be good to go!
