Chocolate & Peanutbutter Acorns

Chocolate and Peanut Butter; need I say more? These are a perfect project for tiny fingers!
  1. Melt 1/2 bag of Mini-Chips {5 second interval in the microwave, stirring really good each time}
  2. Dip the flat end of the Hershey's Kiss into melted chocolate and top with a bite-size NutterButter.
  3. Dip the flat end of a Mini-Chip into the melted chocolate and stick it to the NutterButter.

If your child has a peanut allergy, substitute the NutterButter for a Ritz Bitz!

    Wow so adorable and they look delicious! Very creative. I do mosaic art and I just thought of doing an edible mosaic. Much time to have it just be eaten lol.     I saw these on Family Fun with mini 'Nilla wafers and yours are much better with the Nutter Butters. Definitely a memory-builder with the little ones.

    @Jim & Julie Deaton... and for all of those with peanut allergies- you can use mini vanilla wafers if you cannot find the small nutterbutters and so on. Also-- Targets dollar section usually has the nutter butters in a cup for 1$! Might want to try there!

    We just made these for Thanksgiving yesterday.
    Used the entire bag of Nutter Butter Bites and Hershey Kisses, and they were completely gone by the end of Thanksgiving dinner.
    Anyways, I do have one small suggestion: We actually decided we would split the Nutter Butters up (take the top cracker part off), which leaves you with an empty cracker, and the cracker with peanut butter. Then, we just stuck the Hershey Kiss right into the Peanut Butter, and it stuck. That way, we didn't have to worry about using the melted chocolate.
    (We still melted a little bit for the top little chocolate chip though)
    Just an idea. It really helped cut back on time.
