This is by far the BEST Apple Crisp recipe I have ever made and eaten. It is simple and very sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth you will love this! I got it from a friend, a guy mind you about 5 years ago and I make it every year if not in the fall before Halloween, then for Thanksgiving dessert. It is so good but beware it is not good for you, but everything in portion right!!
Preheat oven to 350 degree
1 cup Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup Flour
1-1/2 Cups Packed Brown Sugar
1-1/2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Butter (softened to room temp)
6 Cups sliced Apples ( I use Cortland)
Cinnamon (as much or little as you prefer)
Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, sugar and butter and blend together until crumbly. Place apples in 8x13 baking dish. Top apples with crumbly mixture and sprinkle with Cinnamon and bake for 40 mins.
Enjoy ~ Gigi
