Acorn Doughtnut Holes

You may think we're a bit acorn-crazy here at Six in the Suburbs (check out our adorable Mini-nutter-butter Kiss acorns here), but when we saw these doughnut holes at a party – we had to make them ourselves.

All you need is Heath Toffee bits, chocolate sprinkles, melting chocolate (chips or bars), doughnut holes, and mini-pretzel sticks.

Directions:
  • Melt chocolate (small amount at a time) in microwave or double boiler
  • Dip doughnut in melted chocolate
  • Dip in heath bar and/or chocolate sprinkles
  • Stick Mini-pretzel stick into end
Arrange them on a platter and share at a family party this Fall...

If you make these, please post a picture on our facebook wall!

  2. Thanks so much for this adorable recipe. We made these Monday for my son's Preschool Thanksgiving Feast. They were delicious and a hit among the kids! (http://maggiemugginsdesigns.blogspot.com/2011/11/thanksgiving-acorns-family-and.html)
